Welcome to Holodeck One. What is this website for?

Believe it or not, this website is a hub of video game reviews. It’s a misnomer, yes, but the greatest misnomer ever. Why should you care about our opinions? We’re not forcing you to conform, but at least hold some trust in our opinions. We’re quite reliable.

Reviews are classified by four different aspects, and each aspect holds an important part of the game. The aspects are gameplay, graphics, sound, and value. In every review, we go over all four, score them, and average the score for an overall grade.

  1. Gameplay represents how the game plays. The default control scheme is graded under this section, as well as things like stability or number of glitches.
  2. Graphics represents how good the game looks, relative to the time period the game was released in. If a game looks horrid by today’s standards, it doesn’t necessarily mean it’ll get a terrible score.
  3. Sound represents the game’s soundtrack and sound effects. If you need to mute your television while playing a game, the game will probably get a low sound score.
  4. Value represents how long the game will last you. It’s important that a game is worth the money you pay for it, and we score the game based on the length of play relative to cost. If a game has limitless value, it’ll probably score high, especially if it’s a cheaper purchase.

Are we all set? Excellent. Let’s introduce the reviewers.

Christofer Fracchioni really likes video games. I mean, he really likes them. He’s been playing them for as long as he’s remembered. He’s also really opinionated. That’s one hefty combination.
Giovanni Spina can’t decide on what he likes. He has a wide variety of tastes, but is indifferent. What’s he doing reviewing games? He simply likes to write. And if the off chance comes that he’s bothered by something or loves a certain aspect of a game, he won’t be afraid to say so. gio
